GUARANA STORY

Guarana extract is abundantly used so that guarana’s natural efficacy is fully brought into play. This soda for adults has a pleasantly crisp taste, and has gained attention as a health drink as it is said to be effective against mental fatigue and physical exhaustion. The GUARANA bottle’s shape calls to mind the form of a Kyoto maiko in a standing pose. This 1960 design was explosively popular, taking a hint from American beverage bottles of the time that featured the shape of women in big skirts.

GUARANA

About guarana
Guarana is a genus guarana climbing plant of the soapberry family native to the Amazon Basin in Brazil. It is a valuable plant that can only be gathered from a small portion of the basin. It is said to aid in the functioning of all bodily organs, especially effective in combatting neurasthenia, mental fatigue, physical exhaustion, obesity and hardening of the arteries, as well as increasing stamina. Also known as an Indian power source, guarana received its name from the Guarana Indian tribe. This tribe and others would drink guarana at festivals and continue dancing over several days and nights. There are also many athletes who regularly drink guarana to help them maintain their condition.
